I created a new artistic value to a subject through the application of color, creative mark-making, and composition. This project helped me learn the different aspects of detail, design, and material, showing the vast amount of ideas I can create in aesthetics. I was challenged to work only an hour on each piece. This helped me learn how to work on my skills in Adobe Photoshop in a small amount of time, and figure out all types of tools and materials I can use in that system.

For this first aesthetic I created, I used only the tool for paintbrush and smudge brush to give a more realistic presence. This took the most time for me in my limited hour of work, although it was the most enjoyable to watch the realistic aspect come together.
For my second aesthetic idea, I created this replica with the Triangle tool and Polygonal Lasso tool for the subject. For the background, I used a foliage design tool to use, giving me some dimension to the subject and character. This was quite easy to create, as it gave me more limited work. Overall, I think this is one of my favorite replicas I have made.
For my third replica, I used a "real oils" paintbrush tool. This was super fun to create and it created amazing texture to the art. This was one of the easiest replicas I created as I didn't create much blending and gave the colors their own space to "pop".
For the final replica, I set my base with the main colors of my subject with the Polygonal Lasso tool and applied a paintbrush with a high amount of opaqueness on top. This gave me a soft, fairytale-like creation, making it easy to create something pretty and fuzzy. I did use a limited amount of a hard-edge paint tool for the stars set in the background of my subject, but overall, I wanted to keep the haze look. This was the easiest and most enjoyable aesthetic I created out of the four.
